MarkerBack lets you capture what is on your screen, annotate it, organise it into folders and export it. It is provided through markerback.com and through the MarkerBack browser extension.
You need a verified email address to use the dashboard. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Accounts are for one person; do not share logins. You must be at least 13 years old.
The browser extension is free to use, with or without a MarkerBack account. In free mode it saves images to your own device and does not store anything on our servers. We may change what the free tier includes, but we will not start charging for something you already installed without telling you first.
The Free plan includes 1 folder and 10 captures per month. Starter includes 5 folders and 100 captures per month. Pro includes 25 folders and 500 captures per month. Agency includes unlimited folders, 2,000 captures per month and white-label PDF exports. A capture is any image added to a folder, whether screenshotted, uploaded, pasted or sent from the extension.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay and exclude any tax that may apply. Cancel at any time from your account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and your account moves to the Free plan. Change plans mid-cycle and we prorate the difference through Stripe.
Refunds. If you are unhappy with a first payment, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. Consumers in the UK and EU keep their statutory cancellation rights; by starting a paid plan immediately you agree we may begin supplying the service during that period, and you may be charged for what you used if you then cancel.
If a renewal payment fails and is not recovered, the account reverts to the Free plan. Your content is not deleted, but folders and captures beyond the free allowance become read-only until you upgrade again or bring yourself within the limits.
Your screenshots, drawings and notes remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to store your content, display it back to you, and generate the exports you ask for. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for what you capture. Do not use MarkerBack to capture material you have no right to access, to infringe anyone's rights, or to collect other people's personal data without a lawful basis. If you capture confidential material belonging to a client or employer, that is between you and them.
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users' data; do not use it to distribute malware or unlawful material; do not resell it as your own product; and do not work around plan limits, metering or access controls. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
We work to keep MarkerBack running but do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change. The site preview is explicitly in beta and some sites will refuse to load in it. To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export your work at any time.
You may stop using MarkerBack and delete your account whenever you like. We may end or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use MarkerBack after that means you accept the new terms.
